Hello, my name is Vijay and I wish to inform you of loving Indian parents who are living currently here in the UK and within a year of them being here they have had their children taken away from them and had allegations made against them. The current position is that whilst the father was let off with a caution, the mother was found guilty during the Criminal Case, at the Magistrates Court in Cheltenham, where they had all been living an is doing community service. The children were recorded as having injuries to their heads and body. What makes all of this unbelievable is that on the day (7th June 2003) that the mother was to have committed the abuse against the children (in Cheltenham) she was physically working at a nursing home in Hemel Hempstead, London where she is employed, the father was at evening shift work in Wilkinsons. There were inaccuracies and aspects which the parents Defending Solicitor failed to counteract the Prosecution and highlight to the presiding Worships during the case. The upshot of all of this is that there is still an ongoing Care Case and the parents will loose their children for good as NO judge or court is likely to return to any parents whereby one or either of the parents have a Criminal Record. Initially, the parents were told by their Defending Solicitor that he had negotiated with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) that due to the lack of and insufficient evidence/no previous history, that the parents were would "be let off with just a caution." Following a pre Care Case hearing at Bristol Family Courts, I informed Social Services and The Guardian acting on behalf of the children of this, hoping that the case would be dropped and the children returned to the parents. Shortly following this the CPS not only reversed their original decision of "just a caution" and proceeded with the case alleging and bringing further charges of Cruelty to the original charge of Assault. There is evidence and witnesses re a former female friend of the mother who not only instigated and provoked the children and Social Services, NSPCC and other organisations and bodies down this path but also of collusionary aspects re Social Services, Guardian, Police and to not only to take the children away from the parents but also to stop and prevent even supervised access, for the parents of their children. The actions and stance of the Defending Solicitors involved are not at all exemplary and have been detrimental. There has been under-handed aspects and events to contrive and keep the children apart from their parents. What has been evident and which I have highlighted all along is that there was no recorded history via both schools and the family GP of any previous harm/injuries to both children, to indicate abuse by the parents. These are parents who are not from this country, culture and hence are not aware of the system/proceedures and have come to rely on the Police, Social Services and other bodies to be honest and above aboard and unfortunately they are not! I am wondering if you know of anyone who may be able to assist, provide support and help these parents? Thank you for your time, Vijay |
